Which plan fits your week

If most of your spending happens in a browser, the virtual card covers it: nothing to open it, an instant number for checkouts and a $5,000 ceiling per month. Loading costs 5% and a new card carries a one-time $10 issue charge; there is no annual fee on top.

If you also pay at counters, Platinum removes the ceiling and the top-up fee together. It arrives as a card you can tap, works through Apple Pay and Google Pay, and brings priority support. Run the arithmetic on your own spending: at around $3,000 loaded per month the saved fees cover the difference between the plans quickly.

What both plans share

Quick answers

Is the virtual card really free to open?

Opening it costs nothing. You pay 5% when loading it and $10 once when a new card is issued.

Can a virtual card be used in shops?

Only online or through phone wallets that accept virtual numbers. For tapping at a till, take Platinum.

Do I need an identity check?

Not for the virtual card. Platinum asks for a short verification because its limits are higher.
